HEALTH MINISTRY CONTINUES TO URGE THE PUBLIC TO BE VIGILANT IN THE WAKE OF POSITIVE CASES

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is advising the public to remain vigilant amid recent increases in COVID-19 positive cases in the Territory.

Currently, the number of positive active Covid-19 cases stand 40.

The Ministry said that several small clusters of transmission have been caused by sick persons continuing to attend school, work and gyms.

It is therefore advising these establishments and institutions to ensure the strict implementation of public health measures.

The Ministry asked persons if they have been exposed to the virus and are exhibiting symptoms including headache, runny nose, nasal congestion, fever, dry cough, muscle aches, vomiting, loss of taste, smell or appetite, immediately contact the Public Health Unit or the Medical Hotline 852-7650 for guidance.
