Health Minister Carvin Malone has called on the Environmental Health Department to beef up its staff and operations, because they must break the level of transmission of Covid-19 cases in the territory.
Minister Malone said that this current spike is too much, and they cannot continue as they have been, and he has put persons on notice as well as businesses, that the penalties for flouting the protocols will be enforced.
And the Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ronald Georges noted that because of the significant impact that Omicron is having on Business Continuity, testing continues to be very challenging.
