WATER AND SEWERAGE TO INSTALL NEW WATER METERS

Meters for distribution to customers have arrived in the territory and Utilities Minister Kye Rymer says the Water and Sewerage Department is now in the final stage of preparations to commence installation within the coming week.
Minister Rymer says that the Department currently has a waiting list of customers who have paid all fees and are awaiting connection; these customers will be given priority.
Meanwhile he said that the residents of Horse Path will be pleased to know that the Department is currently working on the sewerage system, which is long overdue.
This project is a continuation of the Road Town Sewerage Improvement Project.

He said there are quite a number of customers in this area that have been waiting for a connection to this system.
