Members of the Brandywine Bay Committee

On Sunday July 5th, Dr. Wheatley and the Brandywine Bay committee headed by Nakima Bell, continued with their cleanup of the beach area, and he said they tackled the area behind the bathroom where persons have been dumping garbage.

Minister Wheatley said they are in discussions with the Minister of Natural Resources and they would be blocking off that area of the beach.

People cannot use Brandywine Bay Beach as a dumping ground.

Meanwhile Bell said there are in discussions with the Minister to have a beach warden stationed there who would ensure that it is kept clean.
