SMALL BUSINESSES NOT IN GOOD STANDING, STILL URGED TO APPLY FOR ECONOMIC STIMULUS

Micro, small and medium, MSME sized businesses, not in good standing are being told not to shy away from applying for the economic stimulus.

Junior Minister for Trade and Economic Development Shereen Flax Charles said recently, that those businesses will still be considered for assistance.

Flax Charles said they are aware that many businesses are suffering.

She said that most of them have been having difficulties since the hurricanes of 2017.

The Junior Minister said they are pushing hard in this instance for persons who are not up to date.

Flax- Charles is encouraging the (MSME) businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to apply for the Small Business Sector Grant Relief Programme before the deadline of August 21st.
