SEVERAL PERSONS WANT TO BE A PART OF THE 100 FARMERS TO CULTIVATE MARIJUANA

Agriculture Minister Dr. Natalio Wheatley said recently that he has been overwhelmed with persons who said that they want to be one of those 100 farmers to cultivate marijuana.
Minister Wheatley said it is going to be a difficult process to select.
According to the Minister, while the farmers have not yet been identified, the licensing authority will grant licences and will have an application process for persons looking to become potential farmers in the industry.
The licensing authority still has to determine the criterion of the farmers, including regulations, what forms etc to be filled out to receive a licence.

Dr. Wheatley said certainly they want persons who are cultivating to be BVIslanders, Belongers, to be able to dominate that particular area.
