Premier and Minister of Finance Andrew Fahie says his government is one of action and not just talk and promised public officers and teachers that with the increments coming, they will have a good Christmas.
Speaking at a function last week in which the government signed two contracts with through the Recovery Development Agency for the re-development of the Elmore Stoutt High School Campus, Premier Fahie said sometimes he gets confused when people say that the government is one of talk and no action.
On a recent government Facebook post, Director of Human Resources Michele Donovan Stevens said the department is actively working to issue outstanding 2018 increments for the 2017 work year to eligible public servants.
Donovan Stevens said an official statement of increment payments will be issued this Thursday December 9th.
