PREMIER FAHIE REPORTS INCREASED BOOKINGS IN HOTEL AND MARINE SECTOR

Premier and Minister for Tourism Andrew Fahie said that since the further amendment of the entry protocols from 1 October, 2021, they have been receiving reports about increased bookings for hotels and the Marine Sector.
Premier Fahie said they expect to have a robust season of Cruise tourism safeguarded by constant monitoring and adjustments as needed to ensure they continue to benefit from all tourism dollars. He said they must do their part to make this a success, because the responses they are receiving mean more work and potential income for their taxi operators, among others.
The Premier said further, that the Government has been making steady preparations. He said during the 1 October, 2021 changes to the entry protocols they have increased the number entry ports and testing sites and they now have access through West End, Jost Van Dyke, Anegada, Virgin Gorda and Road Town.
