Premier and Minister of Finance, Andrew Fahie has given his first indication that the territory will open up to visitors by August/September of this year.
Premier Fahie said his government and the various agencies are doing a lot of work to ensure that the BVI remains COVID-19 free but the people must also do their part and remain focused.
He further states that he was in conversation with some Caribbean leaders earlier this week to get their support to have more rapid testing for the Virus approved by the World Health Organisation, WHO.
While hinting at the opening up in the next few months, the Premier in the same vein warned the community of another lock down if one case of COVID-19 surfaces from someone coming into the territory and not following the quarantined guidelines.
