POLICE REVIEWING CCTV FOOTAGE AT NIGHTCLUB BUT NO ONE CHARGED AS YET IN JAIMEZ STOUTT’S MURDER

Detectives of the Major Incident Team say they continue to review CCTV footage and interview witnesses as investigations in the shooting death of Jaimez Stoutt moves forward.
Stoutt was fatally wounded while in Crystal’s Nightclub in Freebottom early Saturday morning, December 11th 2021.
Lead investigator Detective Inspector Jumo Shortte says while no one has yet been charged, several lines of inquiry are actively being followed at this time, therefore information to the public must be limited.
Shortte said they have committed a number of their detectives to making sure that the evidence is solid against the individual or individuals responsible for Jaimez Stoutt death and to ensure that justice is served.
Therefore, Detective Inspector Shortte noted that information released to the public must be restricted at the moment.
Detectives are still asking those who witnessed the events at the nightclub last Saturday morning or have information helpful in this investigation to share this information by contacting the Major Crime Team directly at 368-5682.
