Police charge a second man in relation to January’s drug seizure

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force charged a second male in relation to an operation in January that resulted in the seizure of over 200 kilos of cocaine.
Shaun Massicott, 28, of East End was charged for possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned with the supply of a controlled drug. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Friday and was offered bail. Devon Bedford had been previously charged in the matter. During an operation on January 19 in the Brandywine area, officers of the Force intercepted a rental vehicle. A search of that vehicle uncovered a large quantity of cocaine and another search of a second vehicle uncovered a smaller quantity of cocaine.
A boat was also seized as part of that operation.
