MONEY ORDER SERVICE BETWEEN US AND VI POSTAL SERVICES TO END

Acting Postmaster General Iris Romney has disclosed that effective Friday, October 1, the reciprocal International Postal Money Order service between the United States Postal Service (USPS) and the Virgin Islands Postal Service (BVI Post) will come to an end.
Romney said all International Postal Money Orders issued up to Thursday, September 30 by the USPS will be valid for one year thereafter and will become null and void after that date. The Acting Post Master added that during this period, all International Postal Money Orders held by customers can be cashed at any post office throughout the Virgin Islands.
