MISSING JAMAICAN NATIONAL FOUND DEAD

The missing Jamaican man, Junior Peters has been found dead.
Peters was reported missing on June 27th, he had ventured to do some work on Horsepath and he hadn’t been seen since.
But on Friday afternoon his body was discovered in Horsepath close to the area where he was doing some landscaping work.
Commissioner of Police Michael Matthews said they widened the search on Friday and removed scrub and bush at a specific location where he was last seen.
Peters was an employee at Government House and Governor Augustus Jaspert said it was with great sadness that they learned of the tragic death of their colleague and dear friend.
The Governor said his family and all of the staff at Government House and the Governor’s Office are devastated at the news. Junior was a well-loved member of the team. Junior was a dedicated public officer, who did an amazing job making the gardens at Government House beautiful and ensuring that all guests at functions and events felt welcome.
