MISS BVI UNIVERSE FRANCHISE HOLDER SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT

Former Chairperson of the Miss BVI Pageant Committee of the Virgin Islands Festival and Fairs, Alecia Hamm has been seeking to set the record straight regarding the BVI representative for the Miss Universe Pageant.
In an exclusive Interview with the Fuze Morning Brew with DJ Dre, Hamm said she was told that her services as chairperson is no longer needed and she had to return all files and other materials in her possession.
As it stands now Hamm is the Franchise holder of the Miss BVI Universe, therefore whoever wins the Miss BVI Pageant would not be representing the territory at the Miss Universe Pageant.
A few weeks ago, Hamm held her own Miss BVI Universe Show.
Hamm said she was the one paying the outstanding fees to the Miss Universe Committee, hence, she sees no reason why she couldn’t have her own show and send her own representative.
