MARKET SQUARE VENDORS IN ROAD TOWN TO BE TEMPORARILY RELOCATED

Vendors plying their trade at the market square in Road Town will be temporarily relocated on Fishlock Road, adjacent the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Headquarters until works to renovate the current market square is complete.
Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Kye Rymer and officials from his ministry met with the vendors on July 10 in a follow-up meeting and provided an update on the preparations made for their accommodation as the Government of the Virgin Islands develops the market square.
Vendors were given an opportunity to share concerns and suggestions as plans were brought forward to modernise the Road Town market square.
