Local Author Verna Penn Moll launched her book, “Lead me to the Rock” last Sunday during the worship service conducted by the Rev. Joyce Rohan, at the East End Methodist Church.
It was launched just in time for Caribbean Literature Day, this past Sunday.
Penn Moll says that the book takes them on an intimate journey of the author’s deliverance from emotional doubts, fears and illness, even from the jaws of death in 2018.
It is said that the narrative is a testimony of how God delivered Penn Moll, through the promptings, direction and teaching of the Holy Spirit; through reading the Holy Scriptures, and through the prayers of family, the Church and friends.
The author hopes that readers will be encouraged to let go of difficulties and struggles, to offer them up to God, and let Him take full control of whatever challenges they may be facing or experiencing and at the same time, to surrender their lives totally to Him.
Profits from the book will benefit the Alzheimer Society, the BVI Diabetes Association and the BVI Cancer Society.
