Highlights: Green VI “Go Green” Fair 2019

To close off Earth Week, Green VI hosted a Go Green Fair at the Noel Lloyd Park to educate persons in the community on the importance of “Going Green” and also to offer products and services to assist them doing so.

Green VI is the BVI’s local environmental non-profit organisation which focuses on waste, energy, water and education.

Some vendors who participated in the Go Green Initiative were Sage Roots, St. Georges Secondary School Passion for Earth Club, Association of Reef Keepers, Nutmeg & Co, National Parks of the Virgin Islands etc.

Deputy Director of Green VI, Ms. Sara Penney encouraged persons to look out for the launch of the Recycle App next month which features places to drop your recycled products and more.
