Investigations are continuing into the discovery of a container containing 44 kilos of cocaine that was discovered at Port Purcell on Monday.
The discovery was made by officers of the Customs Department and later members of the Joint Task Force headed by Commissioner of Customs – Wade Smith became involved.
Smith said the container was in the BVI for one day. He further says the discovery of the drugs in the container is again evidence of the good work by the Joint Task Force.
