GOVERNMENT TO HOLD STAKEHOLDERS MEETING TO DISCUSS THE WAY FORWARD IN LIGHT OF RISING COVID-19 CASES

As the territory’s active Covid-19 cases continue to increase daily, now 1,387, Government has called a critical stakeholders meeting to discuss the way forward.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development and the Health Emergency Operations Center – Unified Command will be hosting a virtual stakeholders meeting today, Thursday, January 13 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Health Minister Carvin Malone said that the purpose of the meeting is to inform stakeholders of the current and emerging COVID-19 surge and its impact Territory wide.
And with this latest surge, the Health Minister said government and businesses have had to adjust the way they do businesses as a number of employees have tested positive for the virus. Minister Malone said they cannot continue on this trend and it is important that they meet with all the stakeholders.
