Government is making moves so that the George Auguste Airport on Anegada can be opened for international flights.
Premier and Minister with responsibility for tourism Andrew Fahie said recently that to get this done, they are seeking to have immigration, customs and health officials stationed on that sister island.
Premier Fahie also said that now as they have the lights at the Anegada Airport, night flights can resume as early as November 1st.
