Consultant and businessman Claude Skelton Cline made it clear to the Commission of Inquiry on Monday, that he is not the one to be questioned on any contract he had with government.
He says these questions must be put to the government.
In a back and forth between the Commissioner Sir Gary Hickenbottom, Skelton Cline was being questioned about the Neighbourhood Partnership Programme and two other contracts he had with government. Skelton Cline told the commission that because of the types of questions he is being asked to expect great resistance.
Skelton Cline says as a private citizen he is drawn into a situation where he must defend his name on matters on a contract that he held in a private capacity. He says the terms and references of his contract were fulfilled according to terms specified.
