The first commercial flight landed CAPE Air at the Taddy Bay Airport on Virgin Gorda Friday, December 17th, since its re-opening a few weeks ago.
This signaled the commencement of direct flights between San Juan Puerto Rico and Virgin Gorda.
Premier and Minister with responsibility for Tourism Andrew Fahie said the government is in negotiation with other airlines, to have regular commercial flights.
Premier Fahie said CAPE Air would have three daily flights coming to Virgin Gorda.
The Premier meanwhile thanked the other charters, noting that there is expected to be a lot of traffic at the Taddy Bay Airport.
