With the resumption of the East End/Long Look Sewerage Project, the works are divided into four major components.
During a community meeting in the 7th District Wednesday evening, Acting Chief Infrastructural planning, Research and Development in the Works Ministry Duane Fraites while outlining the components, noted that they have encountered some speed bumps which will move the project to an 18-month completion date instead of the 12 months earlier stated by the Minister for the subject Kye Rymer.
Fraites said the components are the establishment of the staging area where they store all their materials, Installation of the Force Mains which is underway at Paraquita Bay, the completion of the distribution lines in the Fat Hogs Bay, long look/sticket areas as well as Major Bay and then the installation of the gravity feed lines in a segment of Parham town to the long swamp area.
