Cruise Ship to call here today, guests would not come ashore

The cruise ship Seabourn Odyssey would be calling in the territory today, however the BVI Ports Authority BVIPA has assured that guests would not be coming ashore.
In a press release, the BVI said it welcomes the return of Seabourn Cruises with the Seabourn Odyssey set to call within Territorial waters with the first call on 21st July, 2021 and the second on 29th July, 2021. BVIPA said that the Odyssey will be calling to White Bay, Peter Island and Passengers as well as Crew will not be permitted ashore. It said that the Ship will be offering its ship ‘marina’ for guests to enjoy water-based activities in the harbour. According to the authority as Per local and ship protocols, all passengers and crew are required to be fully vaccinated and have a negative Covid- 19 test prior to arrival to the Territory.
