Bishop John Cline has taken a swipe at some businesses whom he says are pressuring employees to get vaccinated or risk losing their jobs.
Some businesses have written to employees encouraging them to get vaccinated at a certain time. One particular business sited safety concerns and told workers who fail to be vaccinated by Saturday July 10th, they are not to report to work. Another business said staff who do not get their second shot by July31st, 2021, will not be scheduled to work until further notice. However, the business place said exemptions are made for persons with medical or religious reasons, who had informed management of the circumstances by following an in house procedure.
In a facebook post under the My BVI Page, Bishop Cline said he is standing with the persons who decided not be vaccinated. He believes what some employers are doing is categorically wrong, and its violation of someone’s right to choose. Bishop Cline said that unnecessary pressure is not a good thing.
