ASSI APPROVES ANEGADA AIRPORT FOR NIGHT FLIGHTS

Natural Resources Minister andRepresentative for the Ninth District Vincent Wheatley has announced that Air Safety Support International, ASSI has given the approval for night flights George Auguste Airport on Anegada.
Minister Wheatley made the announcement at a community meeting in Anegada on Sunday.
He said with this approval, residents there would be airlifted at nights in the event of an emergency.
Meanwhile plans were announced to improve the recreational grounds on Anegada which would be done in collaboration with the Recovery and Development Agency, RDA.
The Sports Minister Dr. Nathalio Wheatley also spoke about the proposed improvements.
