News making the rounds say that a highly anticipated announcement on the re-opening of the borders could be made today.
Just last Friday during the BVI Ports Authority’s rebranding, Premier and Minister of Finance Andrew Fahie said that the borders would be re-opened very soon.
Now, there is a live update planned for three this afternoon, on the Government’s Facebook Page, where there would be the launch of the BVI Love Campaign.
Among those to address the launch are Premier Fahie, Junior Tourism Minister Sharie De Castro, Chair of the BVI Tourist Board Kenisha Sprauce and Director of the BVI Tourist Board Clive Mc Coy.
Some persons suspect that the announcement would be made during today’s launch.
Meantime Premier Fahie said he is pleased to see that even though their ports remain closed as they continue the phased reopening of their borders, the Chairman and his Board, the Director and his team continue to push forward, plan, and get ready for The New Regular as visitors prepare to return to come to this Territory when they open for that category of persons.
