AN OPPOSITION MEMBER CALLS FOR THE POLICY FOR THE TOURISM SEASON NOW

Opposition Member and Fourth District representative Mark Vanterpool says government needs to make the announcement now and inform persons in the tourism industry, visitors and travel agents abroad about its policy for re-opening the territory for the upcoming tourist season.
Speaking in the House of Assembly, Vanterpool said it does not make sense making such an announcement on the verge of the opening of the tourist season.
Vanterpool says people make early plans for travel and they need information about the BVI now.
