ACTIVE SEARCH UNDERWAY FOR A JAMAICAN NATIONAL REPORTED MISSING

Efforts are underway by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force to locate Jamaican national Junior Peters.

Peters 50, who resides at Carrot Bay was last seen on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Horse Path, where he was doing some landscaping work.

Reports say his tools were left at the house where he was working and blood was seen.

Peters currently works as the landscaper at Government House.

At a press conference yesterday, Governor Augustus Jaspert made an appeal for anyone with information relating to Mr Peters’ whereabouts is asked to call or visit the nearest Police Station.

He said they hope he is well and persons should also call 311 if they locate him, while the active police search is underway.

The Governor described Peters as part of his family and is a treasured employee.
